On May 8, Batzorig Vaanchig, a legend of Mongolian throat singing, will come to the Abbatiale for an exceptional concert. In addition, on May 9 he will give a private workshop, with limited places available.
Özgür Baba — Music of Turkey
Özgür Baba is a musician and singer of traditional Turkish music who plays the cura saz. Inspired by the verses of great Sufi and mystical poets such as Yunus Emre, Imadaddin Nasimi, Ismail I, and Niyazi Misri, his music blends spirituality, poetry, and the deep traditions of Anatolian folk culture.
